FINANCE/AUDIT COMMITTEE Gerald Fruit, , Ron Sewell, Debbie Jackson and Sherry Hogue serve as your Finance Committee. They held their first meeting examinng the finance and electing Gerald Fruit to serve as Chairman and Sherry Hogue as Secretary. For the first half of the membership our finances were shown to be in good condition with no deficiencies noted. Debbie Mullvain, and Pete Harrington are Board liaisons for the committee.

2007 -2008 BOARD POLICIES (being reviewed for updates - August, 2009)
1. Payroll and Expenses will be submitted to either the President or State
Steward as appropriate corresponding to the US Postal Service Pay Periods.
2. Sub-hire (LWOP) will be paid at the current 46-K Step 12 daily salary.
3. Per Diem is paid $10 per quarter, but requires the person to be away from home for a minimum of five (5) consecutive hours to qualify for any reimbursement.
4. Mileage will be paid at the current IRS rate.
5. Receipts are required for reimbursement of expenses.
6. Steward and Board salaries are paid monthly.
7. The President and State Steward will work with board members and/or stewards to determine office equipment and needs.
8. Only the President, Secretary-Treasurer, and State Steward will be issued union credit cards.
9. Board Meetings will be called by the President or majority of the Board to conduct business between state meetings or as appropriate to circumstances.
10. Email is not considered an official method of communication.
